Sakamichi Joint New Member Recruitment Audition (坂道合同新規メンバー募集オーディション) was a joint company-sponsored Audition for new members of Nogizaka46, Keyakizaka46, and Hiragana Keyakizaka46. Also known as the "Sakamichi Joint Audition," it opened for applications on June 1, 2018.

Timeline Overview
2018
- On March 10th, it was announced that the three groups of the Sakamichi Series would hold a joint audition to recruit members for all three groups.
- Prior to the auditions, women who wished to apply were invited to seven venues nationwide, from April 1st to 8th, where members from each group gave a talk.
- Applications opened on June 1st, with the initial deadline of June 29th.
- On June 23rd, the application deadline was extended to July 9th.
- On July 9th, applications opened on the LINE messaging app as well
- Due to system error, applications for LINE applicants were re-opened briefly
- From July 14th to July 29th, the second round of auditions was held: the Camera Test.
- On August 11th, candidates participated in the third round of auditions: the Interview Examination.
- From August 14th to August 17th, the candidates who passed the third round of auditions began their SHOWROOM Auditions, streaming and interacting with fans for several days.
- On August 19th, the Final Examination was held, with 39 people passing. The total number of applicants was 129,182.
- On November 29th, the new members of each group were announced, being the first wave of assigned members for the groups' new generation. The remaining members who passed auditions but were not yet assigned, continued to train as Sakamichi Kenshusei trainees.
- Additionally, it was revealed that a member for Nogizaka46's 4th Generation had declined her position. Later, it was revealed that this member was Matsuo Miyu who would join Nogizaka46 later in 2020.
- On December 3rd, Nogizaka46 4th Generation Omitatekai was held at Nippon Budokan, introducing the members of 4th Generation.
- On December 10th, Keyakizaka46 2nd Generation Member "Omotenashikai" was held at Nippon Budokan, introducing the members of Keyakizaka46 2nd Generation and Hiragana Keyakizaka46 3rd Generation.
2019
- On September 7th, the profiles of the 15 Sakamichi Kenshusei were released. The official website was opened as well.
- From October 30th to November 21st, the Sakamichi Group Joint Trainee Tour was held.
2020
- On February 16th, 14 Sakamichi Kenshusei were assigned to their respective groups, with one of the original trainees declining her activities.
