There's photo of the old times before joining the group leak on the internet.

She take a photo with other two boys and that's it. Nothing more than that.

She did, however, apologize through her blog that she just cosplay and fool around. The fans understand it and she gets many positive feedback.

I'm so happy that she didn't get in trouble since she's pretty much my Nogi oshimen.

btw, the pic looks funny. She has a long hair and didn't have eyebrow that time, lol.

In comparison to the other Nogizaka purikura scandals the girl's response has been the most disappointing one. While others admitted Nanami is the first one to deny it and it comes with a silly excuse, too. The comments on her blog don't tell the whole truth since the naysayers don't want to post anything there. Even though her scandal is fairly small her response gained almost more criticism than the other cases.

It wrecked her image of a clean & nice girl, hanging out with yankees and coming from a school that looked straight out of majisuka

Her excuse is unbelievable but i guess it shows how much she wants to stay in the group.

I still support cool-girl nanamin

For me she didn't reall have a nice image to begin with. She always has a bit of wild image in her that make her kinda standout in the group.

Because it's not that big deal. The management might tell her to come up with some excuse by her own. So it's kinda silly like this...

Nogizaka's image is modeled after an elite girls-only school so purikura pictures certainly shake that image - even more so when they appear with questionable boys. It's not just about individual image (and even in that regard Nanami was never a "rebel") so in my opinion the only real problem with this scandal is how it affects her image.

Bah, Nanamin seems like she'll be one of those "untouchables" in the group like Mariko is in AKB48. No matter who leaves, who comes in, and who gets knocked down the popularity ladder she'll probably always have a place up front and be immensely popular. Glad the wota are so wooed by her charm that they didn't make too much of a fuss over the purikura (wish it had been the same way for Myumyu).

But yeah, Nanamin's pretty awesome. Her GuruGuru Curtain video was outstanding, as well as her Oide date video. Very entertaining, funny, lovely, and charismatic; definitely one of my top favorites.

At first she was like not in the front girls at all. But she got move to the front in last minute and doing well so far.

She seems to know the way to get herself into the camera even sometimes she's sitting at the back. That's an ability to be good idol. So yeah, she's awesome at that.
