April

• 20 - STAR48 held a press conference in Beijing, announcing the establishment of SNH48 sister groups BEJ48 and GNZ48.
• 29 - GNZ48 Theater was officially opened; on the same day, Team G held the premiere of Team G 1st Stage .
• 30 - Shonichi of Team NIII 1st Stage "Boku no Taiyou".

August

• 26 - GNZ48 first concert "Love Music Wing Up" GNZ48 Dream Departure Show Case Concert was held in Guangzhou Zhongshan Memorial Hall.

September

• 19 - 1st EP YOU DON'T KNOW ME was released.

October

• 1 - Team G announced the following:
  • Huang LiRong and Xiang Yun were promoted to Team G
  • Zeng AiJia was appointed as Team G captain and Gao YuanJing as Co-Captain.
• 2 - Team NIII announced the following:
  • Dai XinYi and Li YiHong were promoted to Team NIII
  • Liu LiFei was appointed as NIII captain, and Liu QianQian as Co-Captain.
• 14 - Shonichi ofTeam G 2nd Stage "Xīn de Lǚchéng"
• 23 - 18 first generation members were promoted and formed a new team, Team Z.

November

• 18 - Shonichi of Team Z 1st Stage "Zhuānshǔ Pàiduì"

2017

January

• 16 - 2nd EP BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! was released.

March

• 24 - Shonichi of Team NIII 2nd Stage "Dì 1 Rénchēng"

April

• 13 - 3rd EP I.F was released.

August

• 11 - Shonichi of Team G 3rd Stage "Shuāngmiàn Ǒuxiàng"

September

• 15 - Shonichi of Team Z 2nd Stage "Dàihào·Lín Hé Xī"
• 16 - Announcements:
  • Nong YanPing was appointed as Team Z captain, and Long YiRui as Co-Captain
• 23 - 4th EP SAY NO was released.

October

• 1 - Shonichi of GNZ48 Trainee 1st Stage "Ǒuxiàng Yánjiū Jìhuà"

November

• 23 - Announcements:
  • Bi RuiShan, He MengYao, Liang WanLin and Yu ZhiYuan were promoted to Team Z members, and the promotion was officially completed on December 31.

December

• 24 - together with SNH48 Group, the 5th EP "Sweet Ceremony" was released.

2018

January

• 1 - Shonichi of Team Z 3rd Stage "Sānjiǎo Hánshù"

March

• 18 - together with SNH48 Group, the 6th EP "Holding Up" was released.

April

• 6 - GNZ48’s 1st photobook Ni suo bu zhidao de... was released.
• 29 - Announcements:
  • Huang ChuYin was promoted to Team G, Wu YuFei was promoted to Team NIII and Ye XiaoMeng was promoted to Team Z, and the promotion was officially completed on June 1st.
  • Zeng AiJia and Gao YuanJing resigned as Team G captain and co-captain. Luo HanYue was appointed as Team G's captain
  • Announced the new original stages "Miss" series, namely Team G's "Victoria.G", Team NIII's "Fiona.N", and Team Z's "Mia.Z".

May

• 14 - Team G member Zhu YiXin had committed serious violations and was downgraded to trainee.

July

• 6 - Shonichi of Team NIII 3rd Stage "Fiona.N"
• 8 - Announcements:
  • GNZ48's Trainee Zhu YiXin was promoted to a Team G, and the promotion was officially completed on August 10.

October

• 5 - Announcements:
  • GNZ48's Trainee introduce a elimination system (See Trainee Selection)
  • Fu BingBing, Luo KeJia, Lin Zhi, and Xu JiaYin were promoted to Team G, and the promotion was officially completed on October 26.

2019

March

• 29 - 8th EP "HERO" was released.

May

• 1 to 4 - GNZ48 held their "Third anniversary week" and announced the following:
  • Team G, Team NIII, and Team Z will hold waiting stages.
  • SNH48's Team HII Zhang Xin has a Concurrent Position in Team NIII since May 1, 2019
  • Huang ChuYin was appointed as Team G's co-captain.

July

• 5 - Shonichi of Team G 4th Stage "Victoria.G"

2020

February

• 12 - Team NIII members Tang LiJia and Zuo JingYuan were downgraded to Team Unknown

June

• 13 - GNZ48 implemented the new Class 4 and Class 8 "teams" while retaining the 3 existing teams. In the future, the members will perform either in teams or classes.
