Team Shuffle

Team Shuffle it's an event that takes place in the 48g. In it, members are transferred to other teams or groups. Team shuffles can be independent of one group or involve multiple groups.

Other

Small exchanges, such as Yamada Nana being transferred to Team M and Urano Kazumi, Watanabe Shiho and Hirajima Natsumi being transferred to Team B, are also team shuffles.

In some cases, members' positions were also exchanged due to an overhaul of the team system. This has occured in four groups:

• NMB48
  • In 2021, Team N, Team M, and Team BII were disbanded to revitalize the group image as part of NAMBATTLE ~Tatakawana NMB Chauyarou!~. All promoted members were collectively recognized as "Official Members." Kenkyuusei members remained as such, and once promoted, would join the Official Members lineup. On January 1, 2022, the teams were reformed in the NMB48 Team Shuffle (2022).
• NGT48
  • In 2019, Team NIII and Team G were disbanded to revitalize the group image following the assault case on Yamaguchi Maho. A generation system was utilized in its place, with all promoted members being grouped into a collective 1st Generation. Kenkyuusei members remained as such, and once promoted, would join the promoted lineup as the generation that they debuted in.
• JKT48
  • In 2021, Team J, Team KIII, Team T, and JKT48 Academy were disbanded due to the impacts of COVID-19. Several group members also graduated. All remaining members were collectively recognized as "Official Members."
• BEJ48
  • In 2020, Team B, Team E, Team J, and Trainee were disbanded due to the impacts of COVID-19. Several group members also graduated. All remaining members were collectively recognized as "Official Members."
