- While filming for Hinatazaka de Aimashou she realized that for as far back as she could remember, she had never made a paper airplane. She then created one for a segment on the show, but it only flew two meters.
- She always choses the single seat near the front door of the bus for the ease of getting on and off.
- She confesses to liking Yomeishu, an alcoholic herbal drink, which she claims she drinks for her health.
- Her taste for Yomeishu has been joked about many times on Hinatazaka de Aimashou. It was even referenced in the music video for Suppai Jiko Kenno, in which her character worked at a liquor store.

2016
- On May 11th, passed the auditions to become a member of Hiragana Keyakizaka46's 1st Generation.
2018
- In June, was appointed as the center for Kitai Shite Inai Jibun, the lead song in the album Hashiridasu Shunkan.
- From August to September, appeared in the stageplay Madoka Magica's Magia Record Musical.
2019
- On January 1st, starred in Aimer's music video, Hanabiratachi no March.
- On February 11th, it was announced that Hiragana Keyakizaka46 would become a new independent group, Hinatazaka46. Mirei would therefore become part of Hinatazaka46's 1st Generation.
- On February 13th, was appointed as exclusive model for non-no.
- On March 15th, starred in the special program Hinatazaka46 Sasaki Mirei no Kaiten! Miipan Bakery.
2020
- In September, was appointed as the center for the song Azato Kawaii, the lead song in the album Hinatazaka.
2021
- From March, starred in the spinoff drama Kakegurui Sou.
- On May 25th, it was reported that she was hospitalized after a health checkup.
- On June 20th, returned to her group activities.
- Starting from June, took over from Kosaka Nao as the main personality for the radio program Hoshi no Dragon Quest presents Hinatazaka46 Kosaka Nao no Kosakana Radio.
- Starting from October, Kosakana Radio was replaced and became Hoshi no Dragon Quest presents Hinatazaka46 Sasaki Mirei's Hoimiipan. Mirei was the main personality.
2022
- Starting from April 1st, is the radio personality for the radio program Lawson Presents Hinatazaka46 no Hotto Hitoki! along with Kageyama Yuka.
- On May 8th, started her Instagram account.
- Starting from October, starred in the drama Piece of Cake.
2023
- In January, starred in the stageplay adaptation of Piece of Cake.
- Starting from March, starred in a musical adaptation of SPYxFAMILY as Yor Forger.
