- She was also a fan of Oguri Yui, and took a photo with her at a 2-shot event. They posed using Yui’s catchphrase (tocchau tocchau) pose. Yui told Maho she was cute and looked like she could be in AKB48 too. Maho said this is one of the reasons she started aiming to become an idol.
She auditioned for Nogizaka46 in the past.
Everyone in her family is known for singing well.
- Her grandfather appeared on NHK's Nodo Jiman Amateur Singing Contest.
- Her father and grandfather appeared on AKBINGO! and sang Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi's "Kanpai."
She loves anime and manga, and calls herself an otaku.
- She collects so many anime goods that they fill her entire room, and they even cover her bed. She says she sleeps at a sideways angle to fit between the anime goods. She also takes out loans to buy more anime marchandise.
- One of her favorite anime characters is Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen. She owns many Gojo goods and even had a birthday party for him in 2022.
- The anime she recommends most to others is Slam Dunk. She also likes Yowamushi Pedal and Utau no Prince-sama.
- She has taken pictures with anime theme song singers several times backstage at music shows.
- She once ran a relay race in elementary school using the running style of the characters of Naruto.
- She is a fan of the idol anime series Idolish7. She says that it is because of Idolish7 that she wanted to become an idol herself.
She likes wearing clothes with frills and ribbons. However, other members say her outfits are unstylish.
She likes karaoke and sometimes even goes 5 times a week. Her favorite songs to sing are anime songs.
She was the first AKB48 member to appear on the variety show “Odoru! Sanma Goden”.

2018

In January, joined AKB48 as part of its 3rd Draft Generation, chosen by Team B.
On November 28th, was part of her first AKB48 song, Ohayo Kara Hajimaru Sekai, on the group's 54th single NO WAY MAN.

2019

On February 26th, had her first appearance on AKBINGO!.
On September 24th, had her final appearance on AKBINGO!.

2021

On January 3rd, appeared at IxR & TinTlip TOKYO IDOL PROJECT × JAM New Year Premium Party 2021 Premium Stage.
On June 30th, she appeared in the August issue for the magazine "ENTAME," alongside Honda Hitomi, Chiba Erii and Yamauchi Mizuki.
On July 30th, appeared in the September issue of BIG ONE GIRLS with a solo interview.
On December 22nd, was one of 8 members to represent AKB48 at the Sky Perfect Idol Festival.

2022

On March 18th, was part of the senshuuraku performance for Team B's Theater no Megami stage.
On April 1st, at the AKB48 LIVE SHOW ~AKBINGO! The Final Sayonara Mouri-san~ , it was announced she would be the center for the upcoming TV variety show AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san.
On April 7th, appeared on AKB48 Sayonara Mouri-san (AKB48サヨナラ毛利さん) for the first time.
