General Information

Yuuhi wo miteiru ka? is AKB48's 6th Major Single, 8th Overall and the 6th and single released under DefSTAR.

This single introduced the new 'CD only limited editions' that included more tracks than the other editions (these "limited B-Type" versions were released from this single until Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2008 - their last single with DefSTAR). for this single, 2 special Himawari versions of "Yuuhi wo miteiru ka?" were included.

Since this single included Boku no Taiyou's Making and PV, this single's video footage was included in AKB's 1st Compilation album, SETLIST ~Greatest Songs 2006-2007~ and later on, both Yuuhi wo miteiru ka? and Viva! Hurricane! were included in H1.
