  • She said that when she passed the Hiragana Keyakizaka audition, rather than feel happy she felt worried that she wouldn't be able to balance her schedule and practice ballet as much.
  • Indeed, as Hiragana Keyakizaka activities began to increase she was not able to attend ballet class as often. Seeing this, her mother called the ballet school and cancelled Hiyori's enrollment without consulting her. Hiyori was so upset that she ran out of the house. She says to this day she regrets not being able to tell the ballet teachers herself that she was going to stop attending.
• She ranked last in the first Hinatazaka46 Academic Ranking test on Hiragana Oshi. She was given the role of "Baka Center". However, she performed much better in the second Academic Ranking test, finishing at 13th place.
  • She claims her poor performance on the first test was due to sleepiness. However, she also acknowledged that as a student she spent more time practicing ballet than studying.
• She was on hiatus from June 21, 2019 to January 7, 2020 due to poor physical condition.
• She is close friends with Sasaki Mirei. On a segment on HINABINGO!, she chose Mirei as her ideal big sister and Mirei chose her as her ideal little sister.
  • Mirei often texted Hiyori while Hiyori was on hiatus. Hiyori claims that if Mirei had not reached out to her so often, she may have decided to graduate from Hinatazaka46.
• She was junior high school classmates with AKB48 Team TP member Oyama Mirei.
• She was unable to participate in Hinatazaka46’s first solo concert in Tokyo Dome due to contracting COVID-19.
