  • She is the "mother" of Miipan Family, a unit consisting of herself, Hamagishi Hiyori, Kawata Hina, and Yamaguchi Haruyo. The four have a LINE group together, and Mirei is known for being motherly towards the others.
    • She is particularly close with Hamagishi Hiyori. On a segment on HINABINGO!, she chose Hiyori as her ideal little sister and Hiyori chose her as her ideal big sister.
      • She often texted Hiyori while Hiyori was on hiatus. Hiyori claims that if Mirei had not reached out to her so often, she may have decided to graduate from Hinatazaka46.
      • Mirei once borrowed a manga from Hiyori and returned it with a stick of Mintia gum. She had been using the stick of gum as a bookmark.
  • She can play the violin.
  • She likes to cut her hair.
    • Whenever she feels like cutting her hair, she immediately does so without any hesitation. She's even trimmed her bangs while in a moving car.
  • She likes to drink sparkling water.
  • She tends to mess up her words and forget lyrics.
  • While filming for Hinatazaka de Aimashou she realized that for as far back as she could remember, she had never made a paper airplane. She then created one for a segment on the show, but it only flew two meters.
  • She always choses the single seat near the front door of the bus for the ease of getting on and off.
  • She confesses to liking Yomeishu, an alcoholic herbal drink, which she claims she drinks for her health.
    • Her taste for Yomeishu has been joked about many times on Hinatazaka de Aimashou. It was even referenced in the music video for Suppai Jiko Kenno, in which her character worked at a liquor store.

  • On January 1st, starred in Aimer's music video, Hanabiratachi no March.
  • On February 11th, it was announced that Hiragana Keyakizaka46 would become a new independent group, Hinatazaka46. Mirei would therefore become part of Hinatazaka46's 1st Generation.
  • On February 13th, was appointed as exclusive model for non-no.
  • On March 15th, starred in the special program Hinatazaka46 Sasaki Mirei no Kaiten! Miipan Bakery.

  • From March, starred in the spinoff drama Kakegurui Sou.
  • On May 25th, it was reported that she was hospitalized after a health checkup.
  • On June 20th, returned to her group activities.
  • Starting from June, took over from Kosaka Nao as the main personality for the radio program Hoshi no Dragon Quest presents Hinatazaka46 Kosaka Nao no Kosakana Radio.
  • Starting from October, Kosakana Radio was replaced and became Hoshi no Dragon Quest presents Hinatazaka46 Sasaki Mirei's Hoimiipan. Mirei was the main personality.
