• While she was active she and Ogino Risa were the tallest members in the 48 Groups, at 174cm.
• In December 2011 it was discovered that she and Kito Momona had attended a handshake event for the male idol group "Sexy Zone" belonging to Johnny & Associates. This drew backlash from SKE48 fans.
• On September 4th, 2012, she, Kito Momona, and Saito Makiko performed in the Team H 1st Stage, "Te wo Tsunaginagara", alongside HKT48 members. HKT48 had just lost several members and did not have enough members remaining to fill the 16-person theater show. Shiori and the others volunteered to fill the spots because they already knew the setlist.
