  • Close friends: Hara Minami, Ueno Kasumi, Yagami Kumi, Imade Mai
  • Hobbies: Morning, shopping, Going back to sleep
  • Favorite food: Bananas, strawberries, garlic, white bread, sushi, liver, hot-stone bibimbap
  • Favorite phrase: WIN-WIN
  • Special skills: Dance
  • Future ambition: Actress
  • Message for the fans: With all of you who love SKE 48, from now on, I want to see the continuation of my dream.
  • Her previous lightstick colors were red and green. On April 2nd, 2017, she asked fans on SHOWROOM to use one yellow lightstick at the next day’s theater performance to cheer for her instead of her usual red and green. The next day, she tweeted after the theater stage that she would like to officially change her lightstick color to yellow.
  • She is half-Filipina.
  • She has a sister one year younger than her.
  • She is a former student of Okinawa Actors School Osaka branch. She enrolled when she was in second grade. She was selected for their talent units BBWAVES and Venus.
  • She took dance lessons until her second year of high school.
  • Because she is from Osaka, she lives in housing provided by SKE48 management for members who are not from Aichi. Up until April 2014 her roommate was Aoki Shiori. After that point all members were given individual rooms.
    • She once blew up the house microwave blew while she was cooking a gratin.
  • She is called the "unfunny and uninteresting" person because of her tendency to talk about dull things during MCs. This is somewhat ironic because her hometown of Osaka is known for its lively comedy acts.
  • She is consistently praised by members and staff for her dance skills. She is said to be one of the best dancers in SKE48.
  • On September 4th, 2012, she, Kito Momona, and Iguchi Shiori performed in the Team H 1st Stage, "Te wo Tsunaginagara", alongside HKT48 members. HKT48 had just lost several members and did not have enough members remaining to fill the 16-person theater show. Makiko and the others volunteered to fill the spots because they already knew the setlist.
  • Since March 4th, 2016 she is the general captain of SKE48, succeeding Nakanishi Yuka.
  • On November 5th, 2020, she was appointed as the "Team Higashi-Osaka Ambassador" to promote Higashi-Osaka City, along with former Japan national rugby player Shotaro Onishi.
  • She received the main role (Eto Kanami) for "Toji no Miko (刀使ノ巫女)", a stage play that was performed on November 10-14, 2018
