- Fractured a bone in her leg during a performance shortly after the 5th generation debuted, but she still willed herself to dance Oki Doki and SKE48 using one leg to hop.
- At first, she claimed to be a baka (idiot) character, saying she had trouble with multiplication. However, as time went on, other members pointed out she is actually very perceptive and reads a lot of books. Eventually she stopped calling herself a baka, since it became clear that she is actually not one.
- Many of the 6th generation members have said Ami is their favorite senior.
