- Around the time of the Team A 2nd Stage in 2006, she dyed her hair back to brown. She dyed it without company permission, and was the first in AKB48 to do so. Akimoto Yasushi decided they would not punish her, saying "Every class needs one exception". The hair dye ban was eventually abolished for the entire group.

Tomomi ate it and enjoyed it, while host Sata and Kashiwagi Yuki were too disgusted to eat it. She also enjoyed a sandwich made of natto, coffee jelly, and whipped cream on another segment.
- Despite this, she doesn't like foreign food.
