Second Generation is a special AKB48 unit created for the song Oosawagi Tengoku, a coupling song from AKB48's 58th single Ne mo Ha mo Rumor.
The unit first appeared during Request Hour 2021 and is different compared to the original Team K members. Second Generation members debuted in 2014 or later (16th gen, Draft 2nd-3rd, Ma Chia-Ling). Team 8 members were considered Second Generation since they debuted in 2014, even though they are not included in the coupling track lineup.
