History

2013

She joined AKB48 as a Kenkyuusei as part of the 15th Generation in January.
On April, 30th she had her debut as a backdancer for a Team K Waiting Stage.
On June, 9th she had her theater debut for Kenkyuusei stage "Pajama Drive."
On December, 13th she performed as a dancer for Shinoda Team A.

2014

On February, 24th she was promoted to Team 4 at the AKB48 Group Daisokaku Matsuri.

2015

On October, 25th Komiyama was part of her very first unit. It was called "Mushi Kago" and they sang the coupling song Saki Made wa Ice Tea on the Theater Edition of the 42nd single Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby. She was Wcenter together with NMB48]'s Yabushita Shu.

2016

On April, 14th the television broadcasting programme TBS released Komiyama's first solo documentary, "Komiyama Haruka, 17sai Arata na Kibo" (Komiyama Haruka, 17-year old New Hope).
In June, Komiyama ranked in the General Election for the first time. She reached 21st, putting her in Undergirls.
On October, 10th Komiyama participated in the 2016 Janken Tournament. She beat Umeyama Cocona, Ogasawara Mayu and Nozawa Rena before losing against Yumoto Ami. This put her in 3rd place for the unit Jankenmin, who released the single Sakasazaka.
On October, 10th Komiyama was announced as a model for LOVE Berry.
On November, 16th she was chosen for her first senbatsu, which was Shimazaki Haruka's graduation single High Tension.

2017

Despite not being part of the television drama Tofu Pro Wrestling, she was announced as a participant in the live event "The Real 2017 WIP CLIMAX" under the pseudonym "Shark Komiyama." Together with Mo~ Mo~ Saya she fought against Yabakune Taniguchi and Diva Odaeri. Shark Komiyama and Mo~ Mo~ Saya won the battle.
On November, 5th there was a SHOWROOM announcement, revealing a new sub-unit for Watanabe Mayu's graduation single 11gatsu no Anklet. The unit was called 7byou-go, Kimi ga Suki ni naru. and the song Hohoemi no Toki was on the Type C Edition of the single. Again, Komiyama was chosen as the center for this single.
During the AKB48 12th Anniversary Shuffle on December, 8th Komiyama was appointed new Team K captain.

2018

On February, 23rd she was once again participating as Shark Komiyama in "The Real 2018 WIP QUEENDOM" event, this time fighting solo against Hollywood Jurina; the latter won the event.
