- She was born in Kaohsiung, but she grew up in Taichung.
- She has been a fan of AKB48 since she was in junior high school.

- At 68 days, she is currently the fastest AKB48 member to be promoted.
- She is known for her catchphrase "ottamage", meaning "oh my gosh!". She was taught the phrase by HKT48's Tashima Meru, and first started using it in AKBINGO!.
- One of her nicknames is “matcha”, due to its similar sound to “Ma Chia-Ling”. Since matcha is often paired with azuki beans in Japanese desserts, she nicknamed her fanbase “Azuki”(s).
- She has passed the Japanese Color Certification test Levels 2 and 3. The test verifies ability to coordinate color for fashion, design, and advertising.
- She has passed the Japanese Chinese Cuisine Food Certification test.
- She likes assembling furniture.
- She was a member of the omurice team in the AKB48 Cooking Senbatsu Competition.
- She keeps in touch with Hiwatashi Yui even after Yui's graduation and calls her her best friend.

2015
- On August 6th, joined AKB48 through its AKB48 Taiwan Audition.
2016
- On February 21st, promoted to Team B as a "Taiwanese Student". This made her the fastest member to ever be promoted.
- On March 4th, made her theater debut by performing Romance Kakurenbo at a Team B theater stage.
- On April 17th, made her first full theater performance at the Team B 6th Stage.
- On June 1st, was part of her first AKB48 song, Koi wo Suru to Baka wo Miru on the group's 44th single Tsubasa wa Iranai.
2017
- On May 9th, had her first appearance on AKBINGO!.
2018
- On March 14th, was part of her first senbatsu for the group's 51st single, Jabaja.
- On April 26th, the moniker "Taiwanese Student" was removed from her profile on the AKB48 site. From that point on she was treated as a full AKB48 member.
2020
- On May 25th, announced that she would be joining the agency JPEG Co., Ltd. and also opened an official YouTube channel.
2021
- On July 20th, 2021, appeared in the special AKBINGO NEO episode 2 for ranking 7th place in the AKB48 no Dobboun! Hitori Jime app event.
- On July 30th, appeared in the September issue of BIG ONE GIRLS with a solo interview.
- On December 8th, at the AKB48 16th Anniversary Team Shuffle, it was announced she would be transferred to Mukaichi Team A.
- In December, prepared sake for the "TOKYO SAKE FESTIVAL 2021".
2022
- From February 8th to 12th, was part of "Reiwa Rakugo ~2022~" (麗和落語~二〇二二~), alongside SKE48's Takahata Yuki, NGT48's Furutate Aoi and Nishimura Nanako, STU48's Kudo Riko and Imamura Mitsuki and others.
- On February 20th, appeared in the recital drama "Umibe no Machi de Mou Ichi, Ano Hi no Kanojo ni Aetanara" (海辺の街でもう一度、あの日の彼女に会えたなら; If I could see her again that day in the seaside town).
- Released on February 20th, appeared as the lead role in the Japanese-Taiwanese joint drama "Mellow Love" (lead role).
- On March 17th, was part of the senshuuraku performance for Team 4's Te wo Tsunaginagara stage.
- On April 19th, was transferred to Mukaichi Team A.
