Members
- January 1: KLP48 is officially announced.
- February 22: Arlee, Galeya, Jew, Khaimook, Mayji, Nall, Nammonn, Nana, Neen, Niya, Proud, and Saonoi join BNK48 as 5th generation trainees.
- March 17: Ito Momoka, Okumoto Kairi, Kawamura Yui, Shiratori Sari, and Hanada Mei join AKB48 as 19th generation kenkyuusei.
- March 31:
- April 25: Aoki Hinako, Ishii Ayane, Ishikawa Ayumi, Inoshima Reia, Eura Yuka, Katahara Sara, Kure Yuna, Tsutsumi Fuka, Tsurukawa Nachi, Nakano Minami, Nagano Rara, Matsunaga Yura, Matsumoto Maika, Yamakawa Mari, and Ryuto Ayane join HKT48 as 7th generation kenkyuusei.
Auditions
- January 1: NMB48 announces 10th Generation auditions.
- January 23: AKB48 Team TP announces 5th Generation auditions.
- February 19: KLP48 announces 1st Generation auditions.
- February 25: CGM48 announces 3rd Generation auditions.
Kenkyuusei Promotions
- January 20: Cheng AnZi, Li JiaHui, Zhang JiaZhe, Zhang ShiYu, Zhang YiLin, and Zheng YuShan are promoted as full members of AKB48 Team SH.
- February 1: Grace Octaviani and Greesella Adhalia are promoted as full members of JKT48.
- March 17: Ota Yuki, Kohama Kokone, Sato Airi, Hashimoto Eriko, Hatakeyama Nozomi, Hirata Yuki, Hotei Moka, Masai Mayuu, Mizushima Miyuu, and Yamazaki Sora are promoted as regular members of AKB48.
- April 1: Okada Azumi, Okamura Rio, Kurushima Yuka, and Morokuzu Noa are promoted as full members of STU48.
