They went on a tour around the country to visit the 47 Japanese prefectures (Team 8 National Tour 〜47 no Suteki na Machi e〜). The tour started in 2014 and was completed in 2021. (By December 2017, Team 8 had visited a total of 34 prefectures and traveled 33,426 km.)
- Each member has a kennin position with one of the other teams of AKB48, listed in parentheses below.
- Team 8 will go on indefinite hiatus in April 2023. The members will fully transfer to the teams they have a kennin position with instead.
