Hinatazaka46 (日向坂46) is a Japanese Idol Group and the 3rd group of the Sakamichi Series. They were formerly known as Hiragana Keyakizaka46, a sub-group within Keyakizaka46, until they became an independent group on February 11, 2019.

  • 31 - The Hiragana National Tour 2017 tour begins in Osaka. The tour would continue until December 13th, where it would conclude at Makuhari Messe.

  • 13 - The group's first drama, Re:Mind is released on Netflix.
  • 20 - Re:Mind begins its television broadcast on TV Tokyo.

  • 8 - Hiragana Oshi, the group's first independent variety program, begins.
  • 16 - KEYABINGO!3 begins airing, this time solely focusing on the Hiragana members.
  • 20 - AYUMI, the group's first stage play, begins. Performances are held until May 6th.

  • 10 - The group wins the "Best New Asian Artist Japan" award at the "Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)" in South Korea.
  • 11 - 13 - Hiragana Christmas 2018 is held at the Nippon Budoukan.

  • 26 - Kimi Shika Katan, Hinatazaka46's fifth single, is released.
    • As part of their hit campaign for Hinatazaka de Aimashou, a cheerleading performance of the song was livestreamed on Youtube.

  • 6 - The group performs at Tokyo Idol Festival 2023 for the sixth year in a row.
  • 25 - Nibu Akari is announced to start her hiatus due to ongoing back pain problems.
  • 30 - 31 - Started the 2023 Hinatazaka46 Happy Train Tour 2023 with performances at Osaka-Jo Hall for their Osaka leg of the tour.

  • 9 - Kishi Honoka is announced to be on hiatus due to ongoing health issues.

  • 3 - The Hinatazaka46 4th Generation started off the joint Sakamichi event, Shinzaimono, with their first performance.
  • 8 - Released their 2nd album, Myakuutsu Kanjou.
  • 10 - First episode of the second season of Hinata Academy is aired.
  • 22 - Won the Best Cinematography for the Am I ready? MV at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

  • 3 - Hinatazaka46 Takkyuu No. 1 Senshuken Dantaisen, a team tournament between all members split into 8 teams, was aired on BS TV Tokyo.
  • 11 - Saito Kyoko announced her graduation on her blog.
  • 23 - Triangle magazine 02 featuring Kosaka Nao, Kanemura Miku & Shogenji Yoko was rekeased.

  • 14 - After you!, a single by Saito Kyoko as part of the Kyoccorohee duo, was released.
  • 16 - 24 - As part of the Japanese Table Tennis Team support ambassadors, Sasaki Mirei, Sasaki Kumi and Matsuda Konoka reported on the World Team Table Tennis Championships from Busan, South Korea.

  • 1 - "WE R!", an exhibition held in Roppongi Museum, opened its doors. The exhibition ran until 19th May.
  • 3 - Held the event "Daisuki Hinatazaka46! Hina Matsuri SP!!", a 2 hour variety and mini-live program, that was also livestreamed on Lemino.
  • 5 - Takamoto Ayaka announced her graduation on her blog.
  • 9 - Performed Unibaru! 2024 at Universal Studios Japan.
  • 12 - "WE R! in Tokyo Skytree", an exhibition held in Tokyo Skytree and in collaboration with the Roppongi Museum ehibition, opened its doors. The exhibition ran until 12th June.
  • 19 - H46MODE vol.1, a group photobook to celebrate Hinatazaka46's 5th year anniversary was released.
