- On May 10th and 11th, she was part of the Kumamoto Team 8 Performances.
- On June 14th and 15th, she was part of the Sapporo Team 8 Performances.
- On July 5th and 6th, she was part of the Okinawa Team 8 Performances.
- On July 12th and 13th, she was center of the Gunma Team 8 Performances.
- On July 26th and 27th, she was center of the Aichi Team 8 Performances.
- On August 2nd and 3rd, she was center of the Niigata Team 8 Performances.

2020
- On June 15th, IZONE's fourth mini album was released. The song Merry-Go-Round was released in both Korean and Japanese, for which Hitomi had written the lyrics.
- On October 14th, the Japanese fashion label 'titty & co.' released a new line of clothing with Hitomi as the exclusive model.
- On October 21st, IZONE's first Japanese album was released. This included a Japanese version of La Vie en Rose, with lyrics translated by Hitomi.
2021
- On March 29th, the final episode of her radio show World Get You aired.
- On April 29th, IZONE officially disbanded and Hitomi, Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako returned to Japan. Upon returning, they were all still signed to the agency Vernalossom, which handled IZONE's activities and promotions in Japan.
- On April 30th, she was listed as an official member on AKB48's website again, sans any mention of IZONE.
- On May 15th, she made her first Instagram and Twitter posts on her personal accounts for the first time since September 2018.
