She is the first AKB48 member to be from Yamaguchi Prefecture.
She practiced dance, swimming, and soccer from the age of 3.
She owns a cat called "Paru-kun".
When she first visited Tokyo after joining AKB48, she was surprised that traffic barriers in the city were painted white. In her home prefecture of Yamaguchi they are painted yellow.
Her favorite AKB48 song is Gingham Check.
She says there are many 48 Group songs she would like to perform, one of them being NMB48's Heart no Dokusenken.
She likes HKT48, and the fact that HKT48 song lyrics often use Yamaguchi dialect.
She has said she would like to spend a day off reading a book all day, and she relieves stress by sleeping.
On July 5th, 2015 she was appointed as a support ambassador for the "Nenrin Pick", a National Health and Welfare Festival in Shimonoseki City.
She was one of the 16 selected Team 8 members that performed 47 no Suteki na Machi e on AKBINGO! on July, 2014.
On November 18th, 2018 she was one of six AKB48 members to participate in the "Kizuna Ekiden 2018 - Run For Traffic Safety" in Hanoi, Vietnam. This was a relay race around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi. The purpose of the event was to raise public awareness of traffic safety, in order to reduce deaths from traffic accidents.
She finished in 18th place on Produce 48.
In 2019 she was nominated for TCCAsia's "100 Most Beautiful Faces in Asia".
In July 2022 she, Murayama Yuiri, and Kashiwagi Yuki were apppointed as ambassadors for RAVIJOUR, a lingerie store chain.
She shares a YouTube channel with Kuranoo Narumi called “NaruTao channel”. They often post dance practices, behind-the-scenes videos, and talk segments.
She loves ice cream and always eats it after finishing a gravure photoshoot. She once ate 10 scoops of Baskin Robbins ice cream on her YouTube channel.

In April, joined AKB48 as part of its Team 8.
On August 27th, was part of her first AKB48 song, 47 no Suteki na Machi e, on the group's 37th single, Kokoro no Placard.

2018

On June 15th, first appeared on Produce 48.
- During the first judges evaluation, placed in group D.
- During the first fan voting, placed at #41.

- During the first performance competition, performed Red Velvet's "Peek-a-boo." Her team won.

On July 28th, appeared on the cover of Weekly Shounen Sunday alongside Oguri Yui.
