2007
- In October, passed the auditions for AKB48's 5th Generation.
2008
- On March 1st, had her theatre debut.
- On August 2nd, is promoted to Team B.
- On October 10th, is chosen for her first A-Side Senbatsu for the 10th single, "Oogoe Diamond."
2009
- On July 8th, during the 1st Senbatsu Election, ranks at #27.
- On August 23rd, during the 2009 Team Shuffle, is moved to Takahashi Team A.
2011
- On June 9th, made it into Senbatsu during the 3rd Senbatsu Election, landing on 9th place.
2012
- On January 18th, her first solo photo collection book "Sashiko is released.
- On April 18th, is appointed as Oita City Tour Ambassador.
- On May 2nd, had her solo debut with "Soredemo Suki da yo." She competed with Nogizaka46 live on AKBINGO! to see who would sell more copies. Nogizaka46's Oide, Shampoo won.
- On June 9th, made it into Kami 7 ("God-like 7") during the 4th Senbatsu Election at #4.
- On June 15th, a dating scandal is published in Weekly Bunshun.
- On June 16th, is moved to HKT48 due to her scandal.
2013
- On March 1st, is part of the Senbatsu members for HKT48's 1st single Suki! Suki! Skip!.
- On April 28th, during the AKB48 Group Rinji Soukai, was made HKT48 Theater Manager alongside Ozaki Atsushi.
- On June 8th, during the 5th Senbatsu Election, ranked 1st place and became center for the 32nd AKB48 single, Koi Suru Fortune Cookie.
- On August 21st, Rino's first center Koi Suru Fortune Cookie is released.
- Released on October 10th, was the producer of Matsumura Kaori's solo single "Matsumurabu."
- On December 15th, her first solo photobook "Neko ni Maketa is released.
2015
- On June 1st, ranks #1 in the 7th Senbatsu Election.
- On September 16th, her second AKB48 center "Halloween Night" is released.
2016
- On June 18th, ranks #1 in the 8th Senbatsu Election. This makes her the first and only person to rank #1 two years in a row.
- On August 31st, her third AKB48 center "LOVE TRIP / Shiawase wo Wakenasai" is released. As a reward for ranking 1st two years in a row, the single has two A-sides with Rino in the center position.
- On December 31st, during the NHK Kohaku Utagassen "AKB48 Team Red vs Team White Selection", ranked 2nd.
2017
- On January 28th, announced the creation of a new idol group.
- On February 22nd, her concurrent position as a STU48 member and her role as the STU48 Theater manager is announced.
- On April 29th, announced the name of her new idol group to be "=LOVE" (Equal Love).
- On June 17th, during the 9th Senbatsu Election, ranked #1. This makes her the first and only person to rank #1 three years in a row.
- On September 6th, her idol group =LOVE released their first single "=LOVE."
- On November 25th, announced that she will cancel her concurrent position with STU48.
