Information
The Tokyo Idol Festival is an annual event held in Tokyo, hosting different idol groups. The event was held in 2017 on the weekend from August 4th to 6th. Various idol groups performed at the same time on different stages set up for the event.
Sashihara Rino was the chairman and overall MC for the event this year.

- HKT48 was part of a Special Stage event held from 10:00 to 10:30 (Day 2), on Heat Garage. Other groups that performed were OSAKA☆SYUNKASYUTO and sora tob sakana. Yabuki Nako was the host/MC of this event.
- HKT48 and STU48 were part of the "TIF Song Festival" event held from 14:20 to 15:55 (Day 2), on Hot Stage. Other groups that performed at the same time were =LOVE, OSAKA☆SYUNKASYUTO, PASSPO☆, DALBiSH and Manekikecak. Sashihara Rino and Yabuki Nako were the hosts/MC of this event.
- STU48 was part of a Special Stage event held from 10:00 to 10:30 (Day 3), on Heat Garage. Other groups that performed were UP UP GIRLS kakko KARI and Manekikack. Yabuki Nako and Takino Yumiko were the hosts/MC of this event.
- First time for NMB48, STU48 and Nogizaka46 to appear at Tokyo Idol Festival.
- STU48 were referred to as 'SeToUchi48.'
