Via the "Wow Live" app, fans are able to cheer on their favorite team by spending 'energy', which can increase one of four stats – size of the laser balls (doing more damage if larger), speed at which the laser balls can be fired, how many balls can be fired at once, and shield strength. Fans are encouraged to use their energy strategically, so they can either give members a boost slowly across the game, or they can save their energy until the end, letting their team turn the game around in the final minutes. After 3 games, energy goes down to 0 and cannot be used anymore.

AKB48 Tenkaichi HADO-kai Tournament (AKB48天下一HADO会) is a battle event in which the AKB48 members battle each other in their respective teams via VR technology. It started on June 23rd, 2022.

Overview

In each round, 3 representatives per team (Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4 and Kenkyuusei) would battle each other using VR technology. Through the headset and controllers, members could shoot laser balls at one another. If a member gets hit 4 times, they're out.

Members are able to charge their balls to make them stronger, defeating an enemy in 1 hit rather than 4 hits. They are also able to create a shield, so the balls would hit the shield instead of the member.
